Scientist, World War II Veteran, Civil Rights Activist - and the Heart of Our Kitchen.
From humble beginnings to culinary legend, Grandpa Bill’s story is one of resilience and heart. After being abandoned as a baby, he enlisted in the Navy at 17, where he discovered his talent for cooking. By the end of WWII, he had mastered the craft.
After the war, Grandpa Bill opened his home to anyone who needed a meal, especially during the holidays, bringing people together through the power of food.
We carry on his tradition of cooking with intuition and heart.
